Spr𝐈𝐍g-𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓 Sensory Play 🐛🐞🪲🐜

Insects are the best! Wouldn't you agree? What is it about bugs that kiddos 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄? We made a few of these tables over the years. This year we added a bug book for pair our play with literacy! They loved finding the bugs in the book that were in the table!

All insect play has a black rice base-- a nice solid color to hide all of the creepy crawlies! Last year we added in natural elements (daffodils, grass, rocks) and this year focused more on scooping and pouring and using tongs to pick up the winged bugs and using the magnifying glass to explore!
