Black rice is one of my favorites to pair with zoo pretend play and sensory, but recently we've been using chia seeds for play and it has been amazing! We also have been alternating between using popsicle stick fences and plastic fences-- and honestly, my kids love both! Sometimes we add a few little people or wooden peg people to play as well! The possibilities for playing and learning about animals is endless!
