Pudding and yogurt! This has been a hit for all of my babies and toddlers! The chocolate pudding we have made into mud for a farm, or dinosaur stomping, or just making designs with fingers and writing scribbles and shapes . Yogurt also has been a hit, especially when throwing a drop or two of food coloring in to the mix.

Cooked Spaghetti Noodles! This is a sensory play that you can do with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and even early elementary kids practicing cutting. Babies love to feel the texture of the slimy noodles, especially when you add a little bit of grapeseed oil. Toddlers and preschoolers love pretend play aspect of pretending the spaghetti are worms or snakes or grass or swampy areas with animals. My kindergarten and older preschool kids love to give the spaghetti "haircuts" with their scissors!

gives them a lot of extra practice to be in control with their hands and cutting movements.

Applesauce! Applesauce is another great sensory filler for babies. It can be played with cold or warmed up slightly. You can dye it different colors, and it is minimal cleanup! Babies love to scoop and slosh around their hands in the applesauce!
