Two ingredients for this one! Foam hearts and colored clothespins!

This activity really helped with color identification, matching and sorting! I had some clothespins that I painted each color of the rainbow. I scattered them in our table and then dumped a bag of non-sticker foam hearts in as well. The goal was to match a clothespin to a same-colored heart! Such awesome fine motor work and concentration took place during this activity! This activity was definitely trickier for my 2 year old, but so wonderful for Mr. Four Year Old! My 2 year old found it so much fun to sort and pile up hearts and try to pinch them with the coordinating clothespin!
