Dino Lab is an AWESOME sensory and pretend play combo! My boys at the time were 5 and 3 and right in the thick of loving dinosaurs. I grabbed our toy Dino stash and went to work creating a land and water sensory table for them to roar and stomp their Dinosaurs in.

I then covered it up with our tabletop tray and then made a "Dino Lab". Basically, split peas, sesame seeds and pretend Dino bones mixed in with some Easter grass on top.

This was meant to be their excavation site. I set them up with little lab stations that had fossil trays and brushes and tools to be paleontologists-- even gave them a notebook to make field notes! 😂

They spent time digging for fossils and bones and then taking them back to the lab to examine, measure and draw. Once the lab scene was starting to lose its appeal, I removed the tabletop and voila! The sensory table was all ready for some Dino play!

This one took a little more time to set up and tear down, but worth every minute of play they got out of it! It also was helpful that I used whatever materials we had laying around and barely spent money on it!

I hope this brings you a TON of play! 🦖🦕🦖🦕
