MIGHTY MAGIC MUSCLE MOMMA
So for a lot of years, a lot of people have been telling me, "Katie! You should blog about all of the sensory activities you do with your kids!" This is not me. I am not a "blogger". I am the momma that may send an awkward note to one of my son's friends at school in hopes his or her mom finds it and decides they, in fact, do want a playdate too. I'm the momma who puts on a mask and cape in the backyard of a neighborhood where that is a rarity, and doesn't think twice about jumping and running to chase my little people. I'm the momma who is the most comfortable when I'm around my kids, and kids in general. I like to keep it real.
I'm Katie. I'm a former elementary teacher/reading specialist, wife to a tall handsome dude and momma to four amazing little men. Sensory play is my JAM! I love creating spaces for play, sensory bins for kiddos, and hosting fun events! I'm just a mom trying to spread awareness of the HUGE benefits of sensory play with all children. I'm no expert in anything, but I will share the things I've learned over the years... the ups and downs... successes and failures... highs and lows. It's all a journey and I'm here to help!
